The one and only Gunna is back in a legendary team-up with Wizkid, bringing us the flaming hot new music video to “forever be mine.”

Following multiple gold and platinum certifications, dominating the charts with highly acclaimed albums and working with fellow artists such as Lil Baby, Metro Boomin and Young Thug amongst others, Gunna is a force to be reckoned with. His breakout single “Drip Too Hard (feat. Lil Baby)” made it to the Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, granting him his first diamond status. In addition, with President Barack Obama’s infamous playlists, as well as an issue of UPROXX‘s “Visionaries” featuring Gunna, is here to stay.

“forever be mine” saw its first preview on August 28, 2024, with a low quality snippet seeing the light of day in early 2025. Furthermore, Gunna posted studio footage of his collaboration with Wizkid recording the song on August 6, 2025, releasing it officially two days later.

Once again, Gunna works his magic, combining violins and pianos with his beloved signature melodic trap and rap. The Last Wun‘s standout track “forever be mine” is Gunna’s personal take on a romantic love song. In it, he describes all the things he would do for his love so she says “Forever Be Mine.” Alongside the track, Gunna dropped a fantastic new music video.

In it, Gunna and Wizkid own a glamorous stage in an almost cathedral-like building. We jump between these glorious walls, the bedroom and dreamlike scenes at the beach before we’re speeding down the street in luxurious convertibles alongside Gunna and Wizkid. All of it is wrapped in this unmistakable air of sensuality, adding an exciting visual layer to the unique soundscapes that are “forever be mine.”
