Canadian dubstep duo Zeds Dead has announced a two-night takeover of the iconic Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia. The pair will be performing on April 12th and 13th, 2024, marking their first performance at the legendary arena.

Zeds Dead is one of the biggest electronic music duos, comprising Dylan Mamid, better known as DC, and Zach Rapp-Rovan, better known as Hooks. They have a unique production style that has stuck with them since they debuted in 2009, leading them to the immense success they’ve garnered over nearly a decade and a half.

The duo started their Deadbeats label back in 2016, now representing some of the biggest up-and-coming artists of 2023. In 2021, they revealed their second label, Altered States, which hosts a wider range of experimental music.

The historic Hampton Coliseum has hosted a collection of icons over the years, including performances by Elvis, Madonna, Beyonce, and more. The Grateful Dead’s famous 1989 shows were performed at the Hampton Coliseum, as well as the final two shows of The Rolling Stones’s 1981 tour.

Zeds Dead’s performance at the Hampton Coliseum will be Deadbeats’ biggest event on the East Coast yet. The duo previously announced their “Two Night Stand” tour featuring shows in five cities across the United States, though these shows are completely separate from the tour.

Both of the shows will feature curated lineups, production, and design to complement the legendary arena. Zeds Dead will also be performing unique sets each night, creating a brand-new experience that blurs the lines of what we believe the touring format to be.

Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, Dec. 1st. Make sure to sign up for presale access, starting on Nov. 30th. Check out the dates for their “Two Night Stand” tour next spring.
