TIGERSWAN is a fast-rising trio based in Copenhagen, Denmark, who in just a year and a half, has guested Japan, USA, several Danish festivals, had music on one of the biggest TV stations in Denmark (TV2), during The World Cup in Football and Handball, and has now reached 500.000 streams on Spotify, as well as a worldwide deal with Knightvision Records.

Their previous single Novocaine took them a long way, as the song was announced as “Hit Tip of The Week” on the biggest radio station in Denmark, P4, January 2019. Straight after it was added into their heavy rotation list, and got over 1100 plays, and landed them a deal with Iceberg Publishing. Now, their latest single, “You Got Style” is ready to pop off, with support from industry titans such as Spotify.

The ambitions are big and the barrier is set high, since the trio also have international ambitions with this project. Their sound might make you wonder of artists such as Justin Bieber, OneRepublic or Justin Timberlake, but TIGERSWAN never deviates from adding their own flavour to the music. Though the project circles around artists like the ones just mentioned, the songs are filled with synthesizeres, funky guitars, gospel choirs and/or dance inspired drops – and everything is handed to you with the trio’s strong set of ears and ideas for when and how a good hookline is delivered. Both Novocaine and the upcoming single Young/Wild/Reckless is a proof of this – by the end of the song, you know the chorus.

TIGERSWAN has known each other since childhood, where the ran the same streets in a small suburb, with dreams of something bigger. A Christmas party did the trick of bringing them together, and a couple of days later, they sat working on their own ideas. Pretty quickly in the process, they decided to go to USA and test their material – it was a starry-eyed idea, but if there’s something that characterizes TIGERSWAN, it is their belief in what they do, their work ethics and the joy of doing things differently in search of an adventure.

16 days were booked, a mini van, a couple of close friends and as many gigs as possible. And that’s how L.A., Las Vegas and San Francisco became test subjects of the first songs that came from hands of the hopeful trio. Amongst many things, the trio got to play the legendary Whisky A Go Go, and started working with the musician Ben Carey, who had been playing in Savage Garden and Lifehouse.

Since then Las Vegas has been like their ‘home away from home’, where they’ve written songs, recorded demos in “million dollar studios”, testet the music in bars and clubs, as well as playing street corners along the West Coast of America, just to get the unfiltered experience of people listening to their music.

“The trips to USA and Japan has taught us a lot. To stand in front of a completely unfamiliar crown, who has no expectations at all, is incredible. You just HAVE to deliver your music as well as you can, right there. It doesn’t matter if it’s a stage, a street corner or a busstop – We’ve learned to enjoy it just as much as a concert, fully amped, in front of your own crowd. Being away from your home turf is a special feeling for us.” – Andreas (leadsinger)

All the patience and years of hard work payed of in the start of 2019, where they released Novocaine, and showed a whole new side of themselves – and after a year of concerts and more songwriting in USA, TIGERSWAN has their eyes set on releasing more music in 2019, building on what Novocaine started. Next up is Young/Wild/Reckless which is released by Iceberg Music Group.
