Yotto’s Remix of “This Feeling” Brings A Fresh Take On Vintage Culture and Goodboys Festival Anthem

Any fan of EDM is looking for the next track that will keep them going, whether it’s dancing, or experiencing a euphoric feeling of overall happiness and anticipation for the next beat. Then, once the moment is over, there can be a rush of bittersweet emotions as the listener realizes that yes, they got to experience something beautiful, but now it must come to an end. “This Feeling” by Brazilian house legend Vintage Culture, in collaboration with master producers and vocalists Goodboys, perfectly captures… this feeling.
Since its inception back in April, “This Feeling” has garnered over eight million streams on Spotify alone. The track has a light melody punctuated with a fulfilling bass, making it worthy of its earned title as the “certified festival anthem.” Now, Helsinki-based EDM producer Otto Yliperttula (Yotto) dropped his remix of the popular track via Insomniac Records.
While the original “This Feeling” has a lighter sound to it, Yotto’s remix adds fullness to his melodic house and techno version of the track. Utilizing the original vocals and repetition of the lyrics, “I don’t want this feeling to end,” Yotto adds layers of sharp claps and a persistent bass throughout the song to take something that is already considered an anthem to another level. Those elements, in addition to the track’s risers and harmonics, bring a fresh twist that would make any fan of EDM not want the experience to end. Anyone who wants to hear a new take on “This Feeling” should give Yotto’s remix a listen.
