This week, luxury resort Wynn Las Vegas is holding its “Ultimate Race Week” in connection with Formula 1’s Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix. The actual race will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, but Wynn is offering a week of events and entertainment for fans during the week leading up to the race.

This weekend will be the first time Vegas has hosted a Grand Prix since 1982 during the Caesar’s Palace Grand Prix. The Formula 1 race track takes drivers and fans across the Las Vegas Strip on an all-new street track spanning nearly 4 miles.

Wynn Las Vegas is right along this brand-new track, making it the perfect spot to host events before and during the races. The resort is best known for its nightlife and entertainment, with XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club on-site. Wynn will be hosting several days of events at the resort, including the official auction and welcome party.

In addition to official Formula 1 events, Wynn’s nightclubs will have a star-studded lineup over the next week. Both XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club will see performances from Marshmello, The Chainsmokers, and Dom Dolla. Other huge artists that will be performing at either of the two clubs include Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Diplo, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Tyga, and more.

Just when you think the Ultimate Race Week can’t get any more exciting, it does. The official opening ceremony for the 2023 Grand Prix will have performances from iconic artists like Andra Day, Journey, Keith Urband, Steve Aoki, and more. There will also be appearances from not only the 20 participating Formula 1 drivers but also from the Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil.

Nearly 300,000 people are expected to attend the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, with an estimated 30,000 planning to attend just the opening ceremony. This huge event is expected to be one of the biggest events in Vegas this year, just ahead of Superbowl LVIII being held at Allegiant Stadium with a halftime performance from Usher.
