On Friday, November 17th, house music up-and-comer Bexxie released her new single, “Reality.” Featuring vocals from San Jose-based vocalist, Lovlee, “Reality” is ready to take over every New Year’s Eve party, harkening back to the ‘90s tech-house scene that spawned legends like Robin S while instilling some of the elements of more modern house music. In other words, “this single is a dance-ready club bop that achieves perfect synergy between Lovlee’s emotion-laden vocals and old-school, tech-oriented instrumentals.”
On the single, Bexxie has said: “‘Reality’ came about when Lovlee sent me a topline and I happened to be working on a new demo that it worked perfectly for,” Bexxie says. “I feel like her vocals complemented the ‘90s-inspired tech house track I was making, giving it a sultry edge. After she sent over the vocal, the track came together very quickly.” As an artist, Bexxie has been gaining more and more acclaim from the dance music scene, and “Reality” is yet another notch in the belt that shows Bexxie is worth even more of that acclaim.
