Swedish singer-songwriter, Winona Oak, is back with her latest single, dropped today (Friday, January 22). Best known for her collaborations with DJ and artist, What So Not, as well as the Chainsmokers; this songstress is just getting started with her beautiful pop beats and alluring lead vocals.
Born and raised in the forests of Sweden, known as “the Island of the Sun,” Winona Oak enchants her listeners with an ethereal twist to pop music while expressing herself in poetic lyrics and other forms of creative expression. She moved to Stockholm to pursue her love for music, she connected with Australian electronic artist, What So Not, and collaborated on hit song, “Beautiful” in 2018. Then, finishing off the year, she collaborated with The Chainsmokers on the track, “Hope,” which has amassed over 400 million global streams and gold certification in the United States.
After releasing her latest EP, SHE, in late 2020, Oak is starting off 2021 with a new release. “Winter Rain” is to be included on the expanded edition of the EP, and shows the world a beautiful contrast of sound with her soothing voice and heavy beats. This single swirls like gentle ocean waves through the mind.
