Why We’re Excited to Return to Hangout Festival in 2022
Festival season is about to be BUSY this summer but we couldn’t plan this year’s season without Hangout Festival. As one of the best destination festivals in the world, it’s located in a small town in Gulf Shores, Alabama right next to Pensacola, Florida. The small town completely comes to life while this event takes place.
1. Line-Up
Hangout has a good reputation purely based off of their line-ups. My first time attending Hangout Festival the lineup featured artists like Kendrick Lamar (who’s performance was eventful to say the least), ODESZA, Greta Van Fleet, Goldfish, and many more. As the line-ups drop and the event grows, the line-ups get better every year! This year’s line-up features talents like Tame Impala, SIDEPIECE, LP GIOBBI, DIESEL (Shaq), Megan Thee Stallion, Briston Maroney, and so many more.
2. Location
When you think of going to a festival, there are so many options in so many different places. It’s rare to find a festival located in such a beautiful spot, directly on the beach. The location heavily contributes as to why it’s such a popular destination festival. The heat can get a bit tough during the day, but there are lockers available for rent from $33 ranging to $53 if you want to store some items to combat the heat with (and maybe an extra layer to cover up if it gets cooler at night).
3. Culture
Whether you’re looking to have a wild weekend or enjoy a beach getaway with some great entertainment, Hangout has you covered. There are 6 different stages catering to a variety of music tastes, plenty of different drink options, as well as experience styles for attendees. If you’re looking to have a more laid-back and going-with-the-flow experience, General Admission is a great option. For those looking to secure shaded viewing areas and amenities as such, there are VIP tickets available to consider as well. No matter how your crew decides to enjoy hangout: the attendees are overjoyed for the weekend they’re in for, and sport very fun festival fashion. It’s truly a hub for all to enjoy good vibes.
