If you’re in need of some warm tunes that make you feel like you’re dancing in the sunshine, “Cali Dreams” is what you need to listen to on repeat. Brazilian powerhouse acts Vintage Culture and Fancy Inc are setting the tone for a huge year in 2021 with this California-inspired dance record, with the help of UK vocalist The Beach. This single is designed to celebrate the love, admiration, and unlimited possibilities of coming to California.

Vintage Culture lives and breathes the culture of dance music, wrapping up a record-breaking year in 2020 wiith over 1.2 billions treams on his back catalogue. He has been featured on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine and chosen by Forbes 30 under 30, becoming one of the most influential Brazilian artists of his generation, swiftly spreading his presence to a global audience. He had some of the biggest collaborations of his career last year, with Tiesto and Alok, and ranked #30 on the DJ Mag Top 100 list. A similarly talented Brazilian dance music tour de force, Fancy Inc is a duo composed of Adriano Dub and Mathew R. They have released tracks on a string of revered electronic labels, such as SPINNIN’, Musical Freedom, Soma, and Adobe.

Clearly, Vintage Culture and Fancy Inc know what they’re doing and they show no signs of stopping down, especially with the release of “Cali Dreams.” It’s an energetic track that carries major beach vibes at the beginning with quickly-paced guitar strums and cheery lyrics with dreamy vocals. Around the 1-minute mark, the instrumental builds with deep synths into a commanding and vibrant bassline. There’s no staying still once that feel-good bassline hits. The track is light and breezy, but with the right amount of power behind the beats to keep you moving.

Whether you’re driving down the California coast or heading out the beach, “Cali Dreams” is the perfect tune for any California destination and beyond. And for those of us who don’t live in the Golden State or are stuck indoors, this upbeat track will undoubtedly have us dreaming of warmer days outdoors. And with spring in the US just around the corner, it gives us something to hold onto while we wait.
