VANCE JOY RELEASES “CLARITY (SHALLOU REMIX)”
Clarity is a simple word to spell, and yet hard to achieve in the real world. With all the secrets, lies and unknowns scattered in this planet, living in a veil of cloudy haze is the easier option unfortunately. Thus, leading most of us to a life of constant confusion and fear. It’s a sad reality we all have to face, and at the same time a challenge to pick the other option to see what’s on the other side. While it’s not all sunshine and rainbows when achieved, it allows for peace of mind and security for a moment in time.
Much like multi-platinum singer- songwriter Vance Joy’s “Clarity (Shallou Remix)”, this offers a much-needed pause to weary minds everywhere. Released July 27th, this tune was born from his album “In Our Own Sweet Time” and now re-imagined by Shallou. Gifted with talent and that intense musicality, Shallou brings in his signature lullaby sound to it. Uplifting this already outstanding track to the realm of spirituality as well as a time travel piece to back when we were babies. In his own unique way, the song was repurposed and transformed into a tool that could calm us down.
Befitting of never-ending sunsets, “Clarity (Shallou Remix)” is a perfect contrast to all the heavy hitting tunes we hear nowadays. What it lacks in thumping beats and that punch you in the face energy, it fills in with a warm embrace only a friend could give. It aims to assure that everything will turn out to be OK, rather than to amuse and rattle the senses. It’s a safe haven, and not a sonic battlefield. That in itself is worthy of high praise because it walks the path less traveled.
