Tune in to Catch the Grammy Nominations!
The nominations for the 2023 Grammys will be announced by the Recording Academy at the Crypto.com arena on Tuesday, Nov.15. The announcement will take place at 9:00 a.m. PT and 12p.m. ET. The Grammy Awards will take place on Feb.5 of next year.
Viewers can catch the awards show being broadcasted on CBS Television Networks and live on Paramount CBS+. The nominations will also be shown via a livestream on Live.Grammy.com, as well as the Academy’s YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok platforms. Next year’s awards will be the 65th edition of the Grammys.
To help announce these nominations, the Record Academy has enlisted the help of several prestigious announcers. The CEO of the Recording Academy, Harvey Mason Jr will be supported by CBS morning anchors Nate Burleson and Gayle King. Five-time Latin Grammy Award winner Luis Fonsi will also be there to present. Joining these esteemed acts will be R&B superstar John Legend and rising megastar Olivia Rodrigo.
“We are so excited to celebrate all of this year’s GRAMMY nominees who contributed to such a prolific year in music,” Harvey Mason Jr said. “With the addition of five new categories and a new, diverse class of voting members, we look forward to honoring all of this incredible music and the people who made it.”
The five new categories include Songwriter Of The Year, Non-Classical, Best Alternative Music Performance, Best Americana Performance, Best Score Soundtrack For Video Games And Other Interactive Media and Best Spoken Word Poetry Album. Additionally a new Special Merit Award will be awarded for Best Song For Social Change. This will be awarded for songs that address the social injustices prevalent in the world today.
