Tom Keifer #keiferband Drop “A Different Light” Music Video
Tom Keifer is well known as the lead singer of the 80s metal band Cinderella but has had a successful solo career since 2013, featuring the #keiferband. Now, Tom Keifer #keiferband returns with a new music video for “A Different Light,” which has been a fan favorite since its original release in 2013 on the album The Way Life Goes. The music video was released as a means of celebrating the tenth anniversary of the song.

When asked about “A Different Light” and the new music video, Keifer states,
“‘A Different Light’’s lyric really struck a chord with people and we’ve had countless requests since its release for a music video. The fans have been right there with us over this ten-year journey capturing show after show on their phones. Including the live vids they shot in the different light music video is our way of expressing gratitude and making them part of the ten-year anniversary.”
Produced and edited by Joshua Smith, the music video features fan-shot live footage of the band from the first year the Tom Keifer #keiferband went on tour in 2013 through the most recent 2022 tour. The video for “A Different Light” opens in somber black-and-white shots, with Keifer’s sultry vocals reflecting the troubles of those in despair. Soon, the video transitions to a perspective full of color, as both the song and video switch between compassion and enthusiasm, ending on a more hopeful note emphasized through various shots showing people smiling.

With Tom Keifer as the lead vocalist, the #keiferband comprises Savannah Keifer, Tony Higbee, Billy Mercer, Kendra Chantelle, Kory Myers, and Jarred Pope.
