Wrapping heartbreak in groovy instrumentals, the indie, funk music group, The Erly, released their single, What To Do With You” on Jun. 14 via Spotify.

Written in only twenty minutes by keyboardist Alyssa Serviss, “What To Do With You” captures the frustrations and essentially the heartbreak that comes along with ending a dying relationship. All in groovy and sun-soaked instrumentals at that.
The Erly has a unique yet vintage sound that separates them apart from other indie artists and groups. “What To Do With You” only emphasizes their vintage sound as simplistic drums, funky horns, and melodic vocals imitate a timeless soundscape from the 70s.
While they might draw inspiration from groovy music soundscapes, The Erly makes “What To Do With You” there own as they glide through the song.
