Finally, two legends of rap music have collaborated on a new single. The world has been waiting for a Kid Cudi and Eminem collaboration and it is everything we hoped for. The two rappers released a new single called, “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady“ which has amazing bars in the song. These two have been around for years, but never collaborated together until now. Kid Cudi has been releasing some new music this year and in early May the rapper tweeted to Eminem hitting for help with music.

Both of these artists always have fire lyrics when making music and this single shows that. The two also have a different rhythm flow when it comes to rapping and everyone didn’t know what to expect for this collaboration. After Cudi tweeted to Eminem everyone was wondering if they were heating something up, but we didn’t know for sure. The confirmed collaboration broke the internet when Cudi released a video of his daughter Vada stated in a video her dad and Eminem were releasing a new single together on Friday of July 10, 2020.

Today the world is facing a lot of issues which we are trying to change and speak more about. Eminem never has a problem lyrically when it comes to hitting the subjects we need to be talking about. He also is very well known for being able to rap at a high speed when rapping. In the song Cudi starts out the song then Eminem has a nice transition in afterward and the song has absolute bars from both artists. Kid Cudi starts the song out by stating he’s making a comeback.
“Yeah, it’s been a minute, but I’m back in it. Y’all ain’t dealing with the same boy. Got a little trippy, then I transitioned.”
This song goes more into the artists realizing they have good lyrics they both talk about the struggles we are facing together this year. They both talk about the worldwide pandemic going on and the Black Lives Matter movement. Eminem shows respect to those who have passed know as, George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery, yet still goes on to talk about police brutality.
“Don’t wanna wear a mask and they’re just scoffing. And that’s how you end up catching the sh*t off ’em. I just used the same basket as you shopping. Now I’m in a f**king casket from you coughing.”
“Prayers to George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery. How the f**k is it that so many cops are dirty? Stop man, please, officer, I’m sorry. But I can’t breathe when I got you on top of me. Your godda*n knee’s in my carotid artery.”
A song that says fuck Drew Brees for kneeling comments, mention the ridiculousness of quarantine life and coronavirus, diss the Trump office, and support the
Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd protests should be the No. 1 song in the country. Get Kid Cudi to No. 1 again.— Eric Diep (@E_Diep) July 10, 2020
Needless to say, fans have gone into a frenzy over this amazing collaboration since the release. These two artists have surpassed the expectations we had for this single. Along with the release of this song the two artists also released a lyric music video as well. The music video is in a cartoon form of the two. Cudi is portrayed as a hero in space and Eminem is in his regular attire ready to murder the lyrics. This new single brings all the heat and the lyrics make this song epic. Streaming now on all platforms, The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady.
