Dance isn’t just meant for joyous gatherings, it’s also a language for those who are silent or are silenced. Thus it’s seen as a perfect example to the reality that actions speak louder than words.
Like a magical mushroom sprouting of a rocky path, this theme of dancing with a higher purpose is presented by Thessaloniki Greece based band The Lost Noise Figure with their song ‘Dance Of The Dandelion’. Released last February 1, 2022 in all major streaming platforms worldwide and part of their album “Alive”.The Lost Noise Figure’s ‘Dance Of The Dandelion’ is a psychedelic track that puts us in the shoes of a dandelion and how it perceives the world around us. A refreshing look at society, it’s a yellow colored dream questioning why we exist in the first place. What seems to be weighing us down? Are we happy with where we are right now?
With vocals comparable to an Angel’s breath and instrumentals that heighten the senses, ‘Dance Of The Dandelion’ is a trippy pill with heavy doses of realizations. It urges to examine who we are and reminds that life is best lived freely away from the greediness and crookedness of society. Not to be mistaken as an open call to be a hippy, all The Lost Noise Figure wants us to do is to reconsider living with less restrictions. So that we can enjoy more and be able to dance with the wind like dandelions do.
