The Knocks “Bang Bang” Is The New Dance Track for Summer 2022
For anyone needing a new song on their summer 2022 playlist, “Bang Bang” by The Knocks (feat. Donna Missal) is the perfect song to add. With its high energy beat and fun synth instrumental, it’s a song that can get anyone to dance during those summer nights. Donna Missal’s vocals on “Bang Bang” bring the song to another level, which is the exact vibe The Knocks state they were going for,

The music video further compliments the vibe of the song as something to be played at clubs this summer. Aquaria (winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, tenth season) is the main star of the music video, as she dances along to “Bang Bang” in a club, barely visible in the black and red lighting. The dark lighting and Aquaria’s dancing bring an interesting mystique to this otherwise lighthearted dance number.

“Bang Bang” is the newest single released in anticipation of The Knock’s third album, History (out April 29th). History features guest performers such as MUNA, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Foster The People, Cold War Kids, Parson James, Cannons, Mallrat, YOKE LORE and POWERS.
