Attention all rockers, metalheads, and music enthusiasts! Brace yourselves for an electrifying night of headbanging madness as System of a Down gears up for a once-in-a-lifetime event on August 17th.

Joining SOAD is legendary alternative band, Deftones. Yes, the Deftones that we all know and love. The bands will be taking the stage of a one-night-only extravaganza in Golden Gate Park. Of course, there will be special guests like The Mars Volta, Viagra Boys, and Vowws.

Presented by Another Planet Entertainment, this outdoor live music experience is set to shake Polo Field like never before. While Golden Gate Park is no stranger to events, this one is a game-changer, bringing the energy and excitement of live music to the park after dark.

These California natives are teaming up for a cause close to home. Not only will this event boost the local economy, but it will also directly contribute to preserving the park and similar spaces from losing vital funding. It’s a win-win situation for both music loves and the community at large.

But Polo Field, knowing for its daytime events, previously hosting greats like Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin, is charting new territory with this bold venture. It’s a bold move that adds a new dimension to the park’s entertainment offerings. Hopefully to become a tradition for years to come.

If you want to see System of a Down live in action, this is your chance. This is their only show for the year besides their recent appearance at Sick New World festival.

As the event creeps closer, so does the excitement for local Californian’s. San Francisco was built on rock ‘n roll, so it only makes sense that these metal powerhouse bands are going to make history with this legendary event.

Everybody’s going to the party, have a real good time.

Tickets are on sale now, with options ranging from GA to VIP packages. Prices start at $169, offering fans the chance to experience this historic night in style.

Don’t miss your chance to be a part of history as System of a Down, Deftones, and a lineup of special guests light up Golden Gate Park.
