Los Angeles-based duo Sunday Scaries came in hot last month with their new single “Dance No More.” This release follows the group’s viral breakout hit “Chill Like That,” but they could never stop there. With “Dance No More,” Sunday Scaries takes the techno music scene by storm. Sunday Scaries teamed up with Kaleena Zanders on this track, out via 10K Projects and Astralwerks.

“Dance No More” leans into the classics of dance music, beginning with a strong crescendo of both the beat and tagline: you’ve got to keep on, I’ve got to keep on. Kaleena Zanders’ powerful vocals, influenced by gospel music, carry the swirly beat into a magical balance. There are ad libs of both long-held notes and strobed techno effects, keeping both elements alive and feeding off of one another. Sunday Scaries allows the production to touch on wild extremes, and luckily Zanders’ voice is a strong enough anchor for such exploration.

The DJ duo and Zanders are both rich personalities with vibrant stage presences that are a treat to witness. Their collaboration is one of many exciting projects coming up for both artists. Sunday Scaries dropped the track right after “Pick N Choose” with Nikita and the Wicked and “Living” with NOVODOR, building upon a new project. Kaleena Zanders released their EP PATCHWORK earlier this year and most recently dropped a collaboration with Anabel Englund called “Anything 4 U”
