Although Chicago-based festival Spring Awakening Music Festival had to pull the plug on their original June 2021 festival plans, festival organizers are tiding fans over with a festival in October. This new festival is called Autumn Equinox and will be held in Addams/Medill Park on October 2-3. As usual, festival organizers do not disappoint with a diverse and impressive EDM lineup. It features classic dubstep artists like Doctor P in what’s sure to be an epic B2B with Funtcase as well as melodic bass artist Said The Sky, a big-time trap B2B with RL Grime and BAAUER, and everything in between and outside of those lines.

This is an 18+ festival, with the VIP section reserved for 21+ only. The doors open at 1 PM and the festival ends at 10 PM on both days, leaving plenty of time for after-party fun. Tickets are now on tier 2. GA tickets start at $179, before tax and fees, and VIP tickets start at $299, before tax and fees. Ultimate VIP is also available for $899, before tax and fees.
