Sintra’s “Runaway” Is The Perfect Song For These Final Weeks Of Summer

Anyone looking for new artists to add to their end-of-summer playlist needs to add up-and-coming house musician Sintra to it… like right now.

Sintra’s music is full of driving bass lines, lush vocals, and crisp, imaginative production, which can be heard in his new track, “Runaway.” With its chill pacing, catchy synth hook, and Sintra’s signature bold, heavy bass sound, “Runaway” is the perfect follow-up to his last track, “Headspace,” in collaboration with Jack Vice. Both are love songs, where “Headspace” is about someone stuck in your head, while “Runaway” is about running off into the sunset with someone special. “Runaway” was launched from Sintra’s imprint, House of Sin Records, which was established earlier this year.

Listen to “Runaway” below:

Cat lovers will also appreciate Sintra’s TikTok featuring his cat, Sophie, as she “helps” him behind the scenes of “Runaway’s” production:

Along with dropping new music, Sintra also performed at Nashville’s greenest festival (where they create more energy than they use) Deep Tropics Music, Art, And Style Festival during the last week of August. The Peruvian-American DJ performed alongside fellow artists such as Tchami, Chris Lake, and Vintage Culture, pulling the audience in with his music during the afternoon performance. According to fellow Glasse Factory colleagues who were on-site at Deep Tropics, Sintra’s performance Friday afternoon on the Congo Soundsystem dominated the stage during his set. On top of releasing new music, launching House of Sin Records, and performing, Sintra’s previous tracks, “Ceviche” and “Headspace,” were featured on Sofi Tukker DJ Mix: Summer in New York Spotify Editorial Playlist.

To stay up to date on Sintra and his music, be sure to follow him on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and TikTok, as well as check out Sintra’s official website. If you’re a fan of “Runaway” and “Headspace,” make sure to also give Sintra’s newest track, “All Night,” a listen.
