Second Annual “BRELAND & Friends” Brings Major Names Together for a Cause
BRELAND brought the stage to life during the second annual “BRELAND & Friends” at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Tuesday, April 4th, supporting the Oasis Center. The Bad Realm Records, Atlantic Records, and Warner Music Nashville platinum artist performed alongside famous pals. With him at the sold out show was Keith Urban, Alana Springsteen, Ashley Cooke, Sam Hunt, and more.

The concert kicked off with a medley of three songs from BRELAND’s debut album, CROSS COUNTRY, which came out last year. He brought Ingrid Andress on stage shortly after, and the two ran fabulous duets with Temecula Road, Lecrae, Danielle Bradbury and K. Michelle. BRELAND asked the crowd for a moment of silence during the show to honor the victims of the tragedy at The Covenant School in Nashville last month, taking time for poignancy during the buoyant show.
Alana Springsteen remixed BRELAND’s single “For What It’s Worth,” and the two performed it together. Tenille Towns and X Ambassadors joined BRELAND next, followed by Ashley Cooke, who came on for CROSS COUNTRY’s title track. Nate Smith and BRELAND teamed up for one of Smith’s own songs, “Whiskey On You.” BRELAND also sang Tyler Hubbard’s latest single, “Dancin’ in the Dark,” with Hubbard. The night had a surprise performance from Keith Urban, who came onstage to perform his hit, gold-certified duet with BRELAND, “Throw It Back.” The show closed with Sam Hunt and BRELAND’s platinum smash, “My Truck.”

The star studded concert benefited the Oasis Center, a youth service center that aids young people in crisis, based in Nashville. The Oasis Center has over 20 programs that service a variety of needs. Mark Dunkerley, President and CEO of Oasis Center, addressed the crowd during the show, explaining the importance of the Oasis Center to young people in the Nashville community and thanking BRELAND for organizing the evening.
BRELAND is now on tour with Walker Hayes on his DUCK BUCK tour, with a whole agenda of high-profile performances coming, such as a supporting slot on Shania Twain’s QUEEN OF ME tour. The Hip-Hop and Country hybrid has become a breakout star, hitting number one on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 in 2019 and being featured with Sam Hunt on best-of-the-year lists from NPR and New York Times. His future, furthering a career that celebrates how genres and people can come together, is looking up.
