One of the most highly anticipated tours of the year, the Hard Rock Live in Sacramento shared an intimate crowd on Sunday night. Fans lined up as early as dawn to witness Sabrina Carpenter for her emails i can’t send tour.

Spill Tab opened the night with a blend of soulful rock and roll and bathed the stage in deep beats that thudded effortlessly through you. Fans who attended the performance were some of the first to hear their brand new song, “Window,” for the first time live. The vocal performance was sultry and contrasted the instrumentals in a way that added more grit to their sound and furthered the song’s message beautifully.

The crowd pressed closer to the stage in anticipations, as Taylor Swift’s “Red” blasted on the speakers and the crowd eagerly sang along. Upon the song’s ending, Sabrina Carpenter turned all attention to the platform, decorated in sparkling fringe as the spotlight shone on her and she sang out her first few notes. She waved, met with an overwhelming cheer from the crowd.

Throughout the performance, the stage glimmered with golden and pink lights that pointed to her as she danced and filled the stage with her smile and presence. A heart-shaped mirror offered a unique centerpiece, as well, that shone to each tone and beat. Practiced and ripe with energy, Sabrina’s vocals shone the most as she powered effortlessly through all her tracks, both sad and equally as empowering.

I feel like I’ve been circulating through the good and the worst parts of my life in just a moment and honestly it’s been so special to share with all of you.

I felt really grateful that I could share what’s on my mind, particularly on this new album, that has been on my mind for some time… I’ve never felt more seen and accepted since releasing it, too.

Being on the road is a very hard thing, and we wouldn’t be here without everyone putting this all together every night. And I just feel very lucky. I don’t know how else to describe it. I think this is one of the most special things… the only reason this show happens is because you come out; and I don’t want you to forget that. You’re all just really cool, and you’ll never know just how grateful I am for all of you.

What makes her most unique is how she engaged with her crowd. Taking a moment to pause, she turned the mic to the crowd to share their breakup stories and she listened with an eager smile, offering commentary as if not just her and her fan, but everyone in the room were engaging in a tea-spilling-sesh with the girls.

The night ended with a special surprise! We advise that should you attend, you cannot miss the grand finale.

Catch Sabrina on the rest of her tour! Tickets are available here, and while you’re at it, we highly recommend listening to the deluxe edition of emails i can’t send below:
