Run, Don’t Walk, to Listen to Moore Kismet’s Single “Run Away”
At just 18 years old, Moore Kismet has already amazed us countless times, and their newest single, “Run Away,” is no different.
Moore Kismet first teased the song as the opening track to their 2023 showcase, keeping fans on the edge of their seats until they dropped the song officially on June 16 via Thrive Music and Virgin Music. It was well worth the wait: “Run Away” is three minutes and 58 seconds of euphoric bliss.
I made this song on New Year’s Day this year to reclaim the joy and energy of making music I enjoyed with no expectations. This is easily one of the best songs I’ve ever made and it’s only the beginning! I hope it makes you dance, jump around, cry, laugh, and everything else in between.

The song’s minimal lyrics talk about running away and being “broken and fragile,” but the dubstep single is nothing if not strong. Its steady rhythm and electronic accents are sonically mesmerizing. When the beat drops, the track hits even harder, one-upping itself with every passing second. Moore Kismet is a skilled DJ and producer, and “Run Away” is a solid follow-up to 2022’s album UNIVERSE and single “Wasteland.” The non-binary artist is making us proud with their powerful release this Pride month.
This icon does it all. They’re a musician, visual artist, filmmaker, voice actor … and radio host, too, with “See Every Color” on Sirius XM. Moore Kismet has earned a well-deserved slot on Billboard’s 21 Under 21 list three years in a row, and they attracted the attention of Forbes, too. The artist was also the youngest artist to perform ever at both EDC Las Vegas and Lollapalooza back in 2021.
Now, fans have the chance to see Moore Kismet work their magic live over the next few months at Breakaway Festival Kansas City or Lost Lands while they wait for what else is next from Moore Kismet.
This is the first of many to come for this new era and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you! My goal with this was make something beautiful, complex and batsh*** crazy at the same time. I hope I did just that.
