RIVALS Begins New Chapter as a Band in Single, “Dark Matter”
Just on the brink of kicking off a headlining tour, rising pop-rock band, RIVALS, embrace independence as they launch their latest single, “Dark Matter” today, April 5th; available on all listening platforms.
This track not only signifies the band’s next chapter, but signifies a fresh restart as a project as they go independent from any label attachment, and a backing supported by major rock producers in the industry. The track was inspired by vocalist, Kalie Wolfe’s perseverance as an independent, female artist. Throughout the track, she embraces her powerful femme energy every time she falls, to only get back up stronger.

It’s a song I wrote about just being a complete badass against all odds, a song about slipping but recovering. Also, a little nod at our bae Ariana Grande, if god is a woman, well then so is the devil <3.
