Radiate joined the music world in 2017; a post-hardcore four-piece band from New York City. In their journey thus far, they’ve released three singles, an EP, and six music videos. Their latest EP, Human, was recorded with producer, Kris Crummett, (Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, Sleeping with Sirens, Issues). In November last year, the band returned to the studio in Portland to record their upcoming debut full-length album, Detach, with the release date still to be announced.

In the 3 years prior to the pandemic, the band embarked on multiple tours, were openers for touring bands coming through New York City and played five headline shows in their hometown at venues like Gramercy Theater and The Knitting Factory.

Radiate is rising in the rock music world, particularly for their latest release, “Cure Me.” Its dive into the euphoric feeling of newfound love follows gut feelings in meeting someone new, knowing they are not only a soul mate, but they are the first person to connect with fully and deeply on a level unlike anyone ever before.

The inherent human connection you make with someone you have feelings for; those feelings feel like salvation or a cure, which is where the line, ‘”you really cure me,” comes from in the chorus.

The hook for “Cure Me” was co-written with YouTube sensation Teddy Swims. It balances dreamy, technical instrumentation with American Idol quality vocals and just the right amount of grit. The early stages of love take focus in the pairing music video that was released, with performance shots of the band in front of a beautiful technicolor backdrop. Watch it in full below:
