Being only 26 years old, Subrinse is one of the staples to not only the Nashville House scene, but the music scene existing outside the country realm. Having performed at the campgrounds of Bonnaroo 2019 (where all the true late night house freaks find themselves every summer), we were excited to chat with him following his set warming up the house for Shiba San at The Cowan.

While getting to know the producer/DJ, he told us about his experiences growing up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and how his desire to see more of the world eventually brought him to spending some time further south in Miami as well as up north in New York City – which definitely influenced the development of his sound and style – to finding home in Nashville, Tennessee. When asking him what drew him to pursuing music + what continuously motivates him, he replied:

“Music is the medium. The environment is the catalyst for organic connection.”

As he’s clearly displayed an interested in expanding, having been featured as an opening act for artists such as Shiba San, Destructio, Mija, What So Not, and many more, we asked him what his dream event would be to perform. Subrinse responded,

“Amsterdam Dance Event. Amsterdam is the hub of house and it would be a dream come true to perform at the best festival there.”

We were sure to ask him if there was anything fans should be on the look out for in 2020, he mentioned a new track would be released in March – we can’t wait to hear it!
