PIAO’s newest track bursts with nostalgia, a whimsical throwback to everyone’s childhood favorite game. “Neopets” will bring you back to the good ‘ol days of playing computer games and exploring Neopia with virtual pets of your very own.
A core memory of my childhood was going over to my friend Sharon’s house after school and playing Neopets. These little moments make who I am, so I wanted to put this simple memory into a song. A capsule of my origin, inspiration, and character… what it meant then to enjoy life and not worry about time — happiness in a pure form.

The Shanghai-born, Los Angeles-based artist ushers in a fresh pop sound that has us hooked. Her playful pop sound is infectious as she explores an innocent type of love. On Instagram, Piao said, “To give someone a carrot and pea omelette is to love that person as if they’re incapable of hurting you” — a reference to a food from the Neopet’s Giant Omelette.
