Glitzy Emo Alternative Rock band Palaye Royale dropped a feverishly high-impact track, “Paranoid”, shared a jaw-dropping music video on October 11, 2021. The third new single comes after the band’s hottest Summer singles and videos, “No Love in LA and “Punching Bag.” The Canadian brothers Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig, and Emerson Barrett will be releasing twelve tracks off their 4th studio album, ‘Fever Dream’ next year. “Paranoid” exclusively premiered at the UK’s BBC Radio 1’s Rock Show with Daniel Carter and was co-written by the band and GRAMMY-nominated Chris Greatti, who also produced the track.
An outpouring of emotions, “Paranoid” presents insecurities and anxieties that can consequently plague the mind. It depicts struggles to persevere from your personal goals while overcoming your hugest critic, yourself. Payale Royale commented on the track, “Paranoid is about all the little insecurities in your head holding you back from living your life. It’s about the doubt and that voice in your head telling you that you cannot do something. It’s about the journey to silence that voice and your fears and to rise above it.” The eye-catching music video, directed by creative collaborators Harrison Sanborn and Michael Bolton, takes place in Downtown LA. The band performs in a decrepit and graffitied subway; frontman Remington Leight goes abound his day, distrustful around his surroundings.
Palaye Royale recently had a jammed packed, sold-out show at the LA’s Wiltern Theatre on October 1, 2021, and performed this year’s LA Fashion Week on October 7, 2021, on the rooftop of the Petersen Automotive Museum, one of the world’s premier car museums and historical landmarks in Los Angeles.
