Another jam packed week of dance music tracks for this week’s New Music Friday Dance. It comes with a plethora of great tunes that cover a various span of styles. Check out a few of our favorite releases from this week below.

1. Rüfüs Du Sol: “Music Is Better”

1. The kings are back just in time to deliver an ethereal vocal house track. “Music is better when we’re together” is something that I think most of us has said to a friend or a loved one at some point. Rüfüs Du Sol captures this not only with the lyric itself, but with the warmth of the track as a whole. We are excited to see what the group has in store for the rest of the summer after such a strong start with this track!

2. Zedd, Bea Miller: “Out Of Time”

Zedd, the master of melodic choruses, is BACK! This track does a wonderful job of being on trend with modern times, but capturing those classic vibes from Zedd’s Clarity era. The tune is already massive, but we are chomping at the bit for a club edit. Expect to hear this track at various festival mainstages for the rest of the year.

3. John Summit, Kaskade: “Resonate”

The Chicago duo along with Julia Church are here to deliver a melodic focused main stage banger. The vibes and the patterns used in the breakdown section are similar to that of “Where You Are“, so expect this one to be used for creating those big moments at shows and festivals. This style of combining a massive tune with a melodically driven vocal is on trend at the moment, take a listen at let us know what you think.

4. Charlotte De Witte: “How You Move”

While technically this dropped a bit earlier in the week, this list would not be complete without including “How You Move”. The Queen of Techno is back with an underground acid techno track just days before her performance at Electric Forest. The current popular use of adding drill vocals over the top of a techno beat just does not get old, and this track does it perfectly. Charlotte De Witte strikes iron once again.

5. Layton Giordani: “Freaks At Night”

Layton Giordani has been on fire as of late with releases that cover multiple genres. It is clear to see that he has a passion for making music of all kinds, and will release hot tracks at any given moment. “Freaks At Night” is a hypnotic techno track that utilizes a well recognized vocal sample that will surely get people from all over the world excited. Take a listen and see if you recognize it!

Hi! My name is Josh and I have been attending concerts and festivals of all kinds for over a decade. While I can appreciate all music in some capacity, my true passion lies within various subgenres of metal, edm, and kpop. Late fall of 2022 I decided I wanted to be better about documenting some of those experiences. So what better way than to pick up a camera and start capturing some content to share with the world? The journey has been fun thus far, and I can't wait to see what things I will have to share for you as it continues. I hope we cross paths at a show soon!
