Thursday, February 20th, Memphis rappers Don Trip and Criminal Manne published a music video for their song together “Victory.” This song was released as the intro track to their collaborative album Lethal Weapon which came out last November.
Much like the Lethal Weapon album itself, this video is a showcase of the talent that Memphis brings to the music world. This is true especially considering that it was shot by Wikid Films, also based out of Memphis. As always, Don Trip showed love for not only Memphis but the state of Tennessee by rocking both University of Memphis and University of Tennessee hoodies in the video. The UT hoodie also seemed to appeal to the orange color theme employed by he, Criminal Manne, and others appearing throughout the video.
The visuals give fans another element to enjoy while listening to their content. And this is not the first time that these two artists have gotten together for a video. Coupled with the release of their Lethal Weapon album, a video for “Shooters on Standby,” featured on the project, was uploaded. Prior to that, we saw videos for “I’ma Quit” in 2018 and “Don’t Talk” in 2012.
Be sure to check the video out. If you have not listened to the Lethal Weapon album, it’s available for streaming on all major platforms, including Apple Music, Google Play, and Spotify.
