Mothica is back with a bang! The alt-pop sensation has just dropped the bombshell of the year – her third album. The visual album Kissing Death’ is set to hit all platforms on August 23rd, courtesy of Heavy Heart/Rise Records.

The artist isn’t afraid to showcase her ethereal vocals and bares all with her songwriting. She has gained recognition in the music scene for her haunting vocals and atmospheric soundscapes in each track. Mothica began her music career by self-releasing music back in 2015. Since then, she has launched her own music label Heavy Heart Records.

Mothica’s talent, authenticity, and ability to connect with fans through her music has solidified her presence in the music scene, making her an artist to watch.

Additionally teasing fans of what’s to come with a trailer of the album, promising that each track is a chapter in the journey.

Kissing Death is a wild ride of self-destruction, growth, grief, loss, and love. What better to depict that than the grim reaper? The video starts off with the grim reaper stalking her, a road of self-destruction, and running away leaving him at the altar. The trailer is very moving and cinematic.

Prepare to be transported back to your teenager years, complete with all the feels and none of the acne

But the excitement doesn’t end there. Mothica is not one to tease lightly. She’s thrown us a bone to chew on while we wait for the big release – a brand new single appropriately named ‘Doomed’. And let us tell you, it’s a jaw-dropper.

The artist is known for her raw and introspective tunes. She bares all as she draws from personal experiences, and ‘Doomed’ is no different. The new single depicts her angsty youth upbringing. It pulls on the heartstrings, the haunting single comes with a music video to match.

Gives you goosebumps, doesn’t it? We can’t get enough of it. ‘Doomed’ is cinematic gold. The Haunting melodies and anthemic energies coincide with the flashbacks of her years as Mackenzie as a teenager in her Oklahoma hometown to give you all the feels.
