Moog continues to innovate with the Moog Sound Studio Experience. The company prides itself in their collaboration with artists, as well as clever foresight. This marks a new chapter in Moog’s journey to spread the joy of sonic exploration. In collaboration with artists Boy Harsher, Galcher Lustwerk, Paula Temple and others, Moog Music announces a new chapter of their Moog Sound Studio Experience. These artists have each contributed to an EP demonstrating the wide range of sonic textures available through Moog equipment.

Moog Sound Studio, designed for synthesis newcomers and professionals alike, offers an all-in-one synthesis exploration package. Moog hopes this will allow musicians to explore their catalog of instruments. The new studio package will include Mother-32, (a synthesizer with a step sequencer and 64 slots of sequence memory, offering a classic Moog analog sound, with deep bass and synth leads), DFAM (a drum synthesis and rhythmic pattern creation synth with analog rhythms and percussion), and Subharmonicon (a six-tone subharmonic synthesizer with polyrhythmic sequences). Each musician featured on the seven-song EP brings their unique sound. Boy Harsher with their signature electro-pop, Galcher Lustwerk with house beats, even the synthpop tunes from Ya Tseen.

Moog also release the Circuitous Connections Synth Exploration Card Game, a game that encourages musical experimentation. The game is also tailored to the specific mechanisms of the instruments included in the package. The cards feature illustrations of different patch combinations for the synthesizers, which will allow new sound and patching techniques to emerge to users.

The package will have everything a beginner might need to tread the world of synthesis. Along with the card game, there will be lessons and exercises included. Overall, the package will cost $1,999 USD. Everything in the package is made in-house at the Moog factory in Asheville, NC.
