Metal Injection’s First Festival Will Fire Up Metal Heads

Metal Injection Festival is taking the metal scene by storm with its inaugural two-day event. On September 16 and 17, metal heads can make their way to Orange County, California for this killer new festival happening in two fan-favorite venues: The Observatory and House of Blues Anaheim.

I’ve always dreamed of having my own festival as a kid, I mean what metal head hasn’t!? I even wrote it down on a future goal plan for Metal Injection in the early days. When my Slay At Home virtual fest really took off during the pandemic, and reached communities in over 60 countries, it suddenly seemed possible, even overdue.

Expect to see some of the hottest metal artists, both established and emerging. The festival infuses all sorts of metal subgenres, such as trash, death, industrial, hardcore, and more.

On Saturday, Max & Iggor Cavalera will perform a special “Morbid Visions/Bestial Devastation” set, and others like Dead Heat and Fueled by Fire will also take the stage. Sunday’s lineup is equally promising, with names boasting massive fanbases of more than a million, like Testament (“For the Glory of…”) and Machine Head (“NØ GØDS, NØ MASTERS”). Fear Factory will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of its album Obsolete at the fest. Plus, explore up-and-coming groups like Thrown Into Exile or Contracult Collective.

One fan is in luck because ESP Guitars is working with Metal Injection to raffle off a pair of ESP axes signed by both nights’ headliners: Max Cavalera and Alex Skolnick. Metal Injections is also working to support the organizations MusiCares and Suicide Prevention to support mental health awareness and resources in the scene/

Rush to purchase one-day tickets for Saturday and Sunday at this one-of-a-kind metal experience. In the meantime, stay tuned for more from Metal Injection by checking out its website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr.
