Multiplatinum singer-songwriter MAX recently released his latest single, “PINKBERRY,” through Warner Records, setting the stage for a vibrant summer. The track, produced by Grammy-nominated Imad Royal, known for his work with Doja Cat and The Chainsmokers, is an energetic dance-pop anthem that encapsulates the captivating charm of a summer romance.
Accompanying “PINKBERRY” is a nostalgia-inducing music video directed by MAX’s longtime collaborator, Miles Murphy. Filmed in the bustling streets of Manila, Philippines, the video showcases MAX’s magnetic presence as he struts stylishly around the city, singing the earworm single.
This was such a fun song to create, and usually the ones the most fun to create for me end up being my favorites. It was also really special to film the music video entirely in the Philippines our last trip there to continue our series of different music videos in different countries.

Following the release of the single, MAX was scheduled to appear at the Grammy Museum LA’s Clive Davis Theater on May 13th. This event included an intimate conversation moderated by Rolling Stone’s Tomàs Mier, along with a special performance by MAX, offering fans a closer look at his artistry and the creative process behind his music.
The release of “PINKBERRY” comes on the heels of MAX’s recent music video for “Say Less” featuring DUCKWRTH, a track from his third studio album, LOVE IN STEREO, which was launched earlier this year via Warner Records. MAX has been riding a wave of success with his hit “Stupid In Love,” a collaboration with Huh Yunjin of Le Sserafim.
Billboard praised the track as a “fresh cut” brimming with “pop vitality,” which has garnered over 30 million streams and sparked a viral dance craze on social media platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok. MAX also delivered electrifying performances of the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Kelly Clarkson Show alongside Huh Yunjin.
Dubbed the “Young Pop God” by GQ, MAX has cemented his position in music with over 3 billion streams globally. Beyond his performance career, MAX has contributed his songwriting talents to major artists including BTS, with songs like “Yet to Come” and “The Most Beautiful Moment,” TOMORROW x TOGETHER’s “Happily Ever After,” and Jackson Wang’s “Cheetah.” Esteemed publications such as Variety, Forbes, PAPER Magazine, and Billboard have consistently lauded MAX, with Billboard hailing him as “one of the most versatile artists in pop music.”
The catchy “PINKBERRY” can be streamed on most major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
