LP Giobbi Shares New Single “Forever And A Day”
Rising musician, activist, and entrepreneur LP Giobbi just shared her latest track, “Forever And A Day,” a collaboration with pop vocalist Caroline Byrne. This is LP Giobbi’s second release since she signed to the independent label Ninja Tune.
Stripping away Caroline’s vocals for a bit, the instrumental track has an undeniably dark tone, almost to where one can assume it’s a breakup song. Caroline singing lyrics about romance brightens the entire song. And it’s cool how these two contrasting tones actually work well together.
“This track started in a much darker / heavier place, but once Caroline Byrne wrote to the track it took on a whole new dimension of beauty that allowed me to rework some of music to highlight her wonderful voice and lyrics.”

LP Giobbi has a lot of exciting factors in “Forever And A Day” that contribute to its enjoyment. The piano part she incorporates gives an emotional touch and successfully pulls at the heartstrings. When adding in the vibrant beat, it automatically provides a great vibe to the track. “Forever And A Day” is entirely lighthearted, inviting the listener to chill and allow whatever feelings or emotions they get from the song to take over.
The tune is only 2 minutes, 46 seconds—which is why the producer and DJ blessed her listeners with an extended version—4 minutes, 30 seconds.
“Forever And A Day” is only a small example of how well she’s doing as an artist—curating over two million streams on Spotify, being displayed on a billboard in Time Square, and playing at events like Coachella and Lalapalooza. She’s currently on tour, which started in late August in Spain and will end in December in Cancun, Mexico.
