LIZZO’S “ABOUT DAMN TIME” GETS A PURPLE DISCO MACHINE REMIX
Lizzo has taken over the music game with her newest single “About Damn Time.” If you haven’t heard this song you must be living under a rock. Taking over TikTok as the newest number one song to make a dance routine video, “About Damn Time” has been climbing the charts ever since its release in April 2022. Now, Lizzo is giving us a revamped disco upbeat remix with German producer/DJ Purple Disco Machine. With two remixes one being the regular three minute remix and one being the extended version, which is a little over five minutes long. This will definitely get you up and dancing with its funkadelic beat and Lizzo’s badass lyrics. The newest remix will put you in the center of a 70s nightclub surrounded by psychedelic colors while feeling super groovy.
Purple Disco Machine have created their sound based on inspiration from Prince and Miami Sound Machine. Starting out in 2012 with little productions here and there landing DJ performances in 2017 releasing a debut album with Sony Music Entertainment. Making a name for themself throughout the years and making remixes with some of the biggest artists like Dua Lipa, Diplo, Mark Ronson and now Lizzo.

“About Damn Time” is the first single off of Lizzo’s highly awaited upcoming album Special. The album is set to drop July 15 with pre-orders made available for her fans. Not only is the music industry getting a brand new album, every Lizzo Stan might be able to snatch tickets for her tour The Special Tour. An extensive North American tour that will kick off on September 23 in Sunrise, Florida featuring special guest Atlanta rapper, Latto. Lizzo has already taken 2022 by storm with hosting and performing on SNL, stopping by The TODAY Show and The late late show with James Corden. A fashionista, performer, influencer is there anything she can’t do?
