Minneapolis alternative artist Landon Conrath is about to make waves with his new album Employee of the Year and a headlining U.S. tour this fall. If you haven’t already discovered Landon’s unique sound, now is the time to dive in. His latest single, ‘Will Nye,’ perfectly introduces the new project.
‘Will Nye’ is more than just a song; it’s an emotional journey. Landon uses his signature 90’s alt-rock production and witty honest lyrics. He captures the raw emotions perfectly.
You can listen to “Will Nye” on all digital platforms here. Trust us, you’ll want to put this one on repeat.

In Landon’s own words:
The only thing worse than a romantic breakup is a friendship breakup (okay, maybe not, but for the sake of this song, let’s say it is). It’s a strange feeling when you realize that a relationship has turned into more of a burden than a blessing, and I wanted to capture that emotion. The goal of this song is to help people realize that it’s okay to outgrow relationships, and no matter how bittersweet it may be, sometimes you have to move on.
Landon has been on an incredible journey recently. Following the release of his EP Songs of Past Life, he embarked on his debut headline tour this past Spring. The tour was a major success. On that tour, he sold out shows across the country. His high-energy shows, featuring furious anthems and catchy choruses, have been the talk of the town.
If you don’t want to miss out, Landon’s headline Employee of the Month tour kicks off this September at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis. It’s going to be a killer tour that you won’t want to miss.

We have the scoop on the latest album!
When discussing his new album, Landon shared some insightful thoughts:
I want this album to communicate the idea that outward success doesn’t mean inward fulfillment. Many people are praised for good work at their job or place of influence, but they don’t feel like they are truly finding success or worth in that situation. I started releasing music for fun almost five years ago, and it turned into this thing that took over my entire life. The goal of my music has always been to erase the idea that I am anyone special. All I want from my art is connection, and I hope that this project will find its way into people’s lives and leave them feeling like they aren’t so alone anymore.”
Without a doubt, Landon Conrath is more than just a musician. In addition, he’s a storyteller who isn’t afraid to tackle the tough subjects. His honest approach and relatable lyrics make his music resonate deeply with listeners.
So, mark your calendars and get ready to experience the incredible journey that is Employee of the Year.
