Knox released his newest single, “We’re Not In Love Anymore.” The singer-songwriter has teamed up with another Nashville-based artist Charlotte Sands, who has an equally impressive discography.
The breakup ballad marks the latest in a series of increasingly popular singles from Knox, including recent fan favorite, “Not The 1975,” which garnered 4M views across 500 total TikTok videos in the week following release. In the spring, he released “Love Letter,” heralded by a string of TikTok teasers that earned more than 3M views and later joined by a stripped-down acoustic rendition. His music has become perfect for moody videos and aesthetic vlogs.
The newest music video shows Knox and Charlotte Sands simply singing as the lyrics are displayed across the screen. There’s nothing choreographed about the video. Rather the two singers stand and sway according to their respective styles. Blue hues turn pink, and flashing lights highlight the dramaticism during the chorus.
We share a bed but we’re strangers
So let’s take our hands off the wheel
You were the person I’d tell all my secrets
Now I can’t tell how you feel– “We’re Not In Love Anymore”
