Ye Has Risen: Kanye West Breaks Silence By Dropping “Wash Us In The Blood” Featuring Travis Scott

Unexpected, but always appreciated, Kanye West has finally broke his recent silence. While Kanye has been relatively quiet online, he has remained in action. He has been marching for Black Lives Matter, created a college fund for George Floyd’s daughter of 2 million dollars, and apparently, busy in the studio.

Compared to his most recent album release JESUS IS KINGWash Us In the Blood re-visits The Life of Pablo + Yeezus styled rapping + production. For fans who have been chanting, “we want the old Kanye”, we’d definitely recommend giving this track a listen. The production is uniquely Ye, and Travis Scott added the perfect featured flavor to really take this track up a notch.

In addition to the new track, Kanye dropped an accompanying music video which begins with a clip from one of the recent protests in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The clip shows a police officer pushing a peaceful protester to the ground and another police officer going after him yelling at him for how wrong that is (bravo). Throughout the music video, many moving clips are featured. The most heart-warming of them all though, is in the ending when North West is seen at Sunday Church Service rehearsal and Kanye says a prayer.
