Jack Harlow Foundation, Supporting the Louisville Community, Launched This Month
Louisville native and heart-stealing rap superstar Jack Harlow has launched a charitable organization in support of his hometown. The actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist created the foundation, in his name, to serve as his primary vehicle to reinvest, uplift, and support organizations that make the city that raised him a better place.
“With all I have done and will do in my career, my home is where my heart is, my refuge, and the place that shaped me. Giving back to Louisville represents the dream I have of making a difference. My vision is to make Louisville a better place.Know that this is just the start of my philanthropic legacy and I look forward to transforming our community and, as a result, the success and happiness of its citizens.”

In tandem with the launch, The Jack Harlow Foundation announced gifts to four organizations based in Kentucky, all of whom are working tirelessly for their community. Adelante Hispanic Achievers is dedicated to uplifting Latinx youth, allowing them creative and nurturing freedom. Centro Latino connects Latinx communities with programs and resources that better their standard of living. Russell: A Place of Promise is committed to building black wealth, focused on investment without displacement and making valuable connections. Finally, Sponsor Success works to develop a giving network of professionals, committed to lessening social and economic disparities.

The foundation’s launch marks a celebration of community care, continuing Harlow’s dedication to philanthropy. Before the foundation, the star gave back to Louisville with five donations to local organizations: AMPED, Center for Women and Families, Grace James Academy, Louisville Urban League and Metro United Way. This work inspired the attention of Instagram and Kentucky Fried Chicken to make additional donations. With the foundation’s new donations, Harlow has now been honored as a “Hometown Hero” in Louisville, presented on a banner to natives of the city who use their national and international platforms to share Louisville pride and give back.
“The launch of my foundation is represented by gifts to 4 organizations that I believe are doing the work of making Louisville a better place; helping under resourced families remove obstacles to higher education, supporting a new start in a neighborhood that has been lacking investment, giving hands on assistance to the poorest of the poor, and making safe housing affordable for families.”
