Producer and songwriter Aurelia invites listeners into an experimental soundscape with their latest EP, PROMETHIANS. The project balances obscurity and cohesion, reflecting themes of alienation, belonging, and the search for meaning in an often dissonant world.

We were so impressed with their newest sound direction that we felt we had to pick their brains. From opera, dance music, and other genre influences; we instantly heard a blend of all of them throughout the EP’s production. Not to mention that we were allured by the music’s dark-edged and energetic lyrics.

Read our review of ABRASIVE with notes on the EP below:

In our exclusive interview, Aurelia shared how the record came to life as both a personal exploration and a sonic experiment. Through textured production and haunting melodies, PROMETHIANS blurs the line between the alien and the familiar. For Aurelia, music becomes both a mirror and a bridge: a way to process solitude while creating threads of connection for those who listen. The result is a body of work that feels otherworldly yet deeply human.
