Pierce The Veil’s “I Can’t Hear You” tour hit Concord’s Toyota Pavilion on Wednesday, June 25, delivering an electrifying evening for post-hardcore fans across the Bay Area. Joined by support acts Sleeping With Sirens and Beach Weather, the lineup delivered a dynamic mix of soaring melodies, heavy breakdowns, and emotional anthems, all under a beautiful California evening sky. Toyota Pavilion welcomed a packed house with a festival-like atmosphere. Fans flocked to the lawn and pavilion seats early—many sporting band tees—and the warm, golden-hour sunshine set a perfect tone for a high-energy night. The venue’s versatile layout allowed both die-hard pit-goers and more laid-back listeners to experience the show in their own way.
The openers, Beach Weather, kicked off the evening with great energy, performing their breakout hit “Sex, Drugs, Etc.” and newer track “Dressing Room Tattoo,” the Boston foursome delivered a punchy yet infectious opening set. Their surf-rock vibe offered a lighter contrast before the heavier musical storms ahead
At around 7:50 PM, Sleeping With Sirens hit the stage. Frontman Kellin Quinn’s powerhouse vocals led the band through a fiery 45-minute set spanning from “Kick Me” and “Leave It All Behind” to fan favorites like “If You Can’t Hang.” The band’s emotional intensity and stage presence firmly energized the crowd, setting the tone for the headliner
Vic Fuentes took to the stage, rocking a California t-shirt, opening their set with a song off of their newest album, “Death Of An Executioner”. Pierce The Veil captivated the audience instantly playing a relentless onslaught of tracks, new and old, like “Bulls in the Bronx,” and “Pass the Nirvana.” The setlist pulled from across their career, including emotive standouts like “Floral & Fading” and “She Makes Dirty Words Sound Pretty”. The band came out in acoustic guitars to perform “Wonderless,” before culminating in an encore of favorites, “Disasterology” and “Hold On Till May”. During the finals songs we noticed that people had brought out their flashlights out on their phones and placed colorful heart shaped pieces of paper against it to make a beautiful wave of colors swaying to the beat of each song. And to end the already iconic night, they performed theirs and Sleeping With Sirens hit song “King for a Day” which Kellin Quinn came out to join them on stage for.

This world tour was one to remember not only for the fans but for the bands as well.
