Hot Milk released a music video for its single “HORROR SHOW,” and fans cannot look away. The song’s unmistakable edginess celebrates the emo power pop band’s style, building anticipation for its upcoming debut album. A CALL TO THE VOID will be available for fans to scream along to starting August 25 via Music For Nations.

To those on the outside of the lives that we lead, we may look odd, scary and different,,, so what? In their eyes we may be d**ned, lost, rebellious, and less than. This song accepts that difference, embraces it, and shoves it back in their faces. Built to be obnoxious and written to be purposely aggressive, [“HORROW SHOW”] combines our loves of drum n bass n dirty riffs.

~ Han Mee (lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist)

This recent release is grungy. It satisfies listeners’ cravings for breaking boundaries, with dark lyrics that demand attention. Each line is brimming with defiance against the status quo and societal expectations, supported by killer electric guitar riffs, intense drums, and a catchy, captivating rhythm.

Horror show can’t look away,

I’m d**ned and I’m decay,

Broke my heart a million times,

Now I’m falling in love with the other side

~ “HORROW SHOW”

The music video spotlights the skillful guitar playing and drumming, with shots of a standard band set-up in front of a theatrical red curtain and velvety scarlet floor. The video transitions to glitchy fluorescent green lighting and colorful flashing hues over trippy scenes that make viewers question their sense of reality. All this makes for a mesmerizing watch.

“HORROR SHOW” and “PARTY ON MY DEATHBED” are just two of 11 from the tracklist coming soon from Hot Milk. If the rest of the releases are of the same caliber, then A CALL TO THE VOID will be one of the hottest albums of the year. Can’t get enough of songs like this?
