Philadelphia and Delaware area post-hardcore outfit, Hollow Pledge, has a fresh EP, titled Silent Cheers. As the third project out from the band, we share their third track with you, “Signs,” the perfect introduction to the rising rock artists. As one that begins with a slower burn, the unique sound of the band is showcased at its finest in this track.

Starting as an idea from lead vocalist Julio Tirado, joined by Patrick Daniels and Mike Preston, All 3 musicians hail from the PA-DE-NJ music scene and collaborate together as one on their own unique blend of sound. Hollow Pledge grew to become a band known for its profound catchy hooks, mesmerizing guitar licks, and chuggy sequences that are sure to make your head follow the beat! After releasing their debut EP, Intervention, in 2019, Hollow Pledge took to the stage and found their niche playing alongside bands of many different genres, spanning from punk to rock, metal, and everything in-between. The bands versatility proved to be one of their strongest assets along with years of experience from previous projects such as: Anatomy of an Outcast, Lost in Betrayal, and Rapid Intake. Now in 2022, Hollow Pledge plans on venturing out to new cities and new stages in support of their newest EP Silent Cheers.

As it begins with a sense of ease, heavier electric guitar pour into the soundscape before crisp and sweet vocals blend in with the single, “Signs.” The lyrics are relatable, too, for any person who has loved deeply and lost, and are left with the deep ache within them. The song’s chorus packs the emotion levels to their peak, and you can feel the ache of emotion from within.
