Pop icon Hilary Duff is stepping back into the spotlight with her highly anticipated sixth studio album, luck…or something, set for release on February 20, 2026. The project marks her first full-length studio release in over ten years, ushering in a new era of sound, self-reflection, and creative rebirth.

I’m often asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry. The album title is my way of answering that question. It’s luck, but there’s also a lot of weight in the ‘…or something.’ Many of the things I’ve been through along the way are held there, and I feel like ultimately that’s what’s shaped me.” – Hilary Duff
A Bold New Chapter in Pop

The first taste of the new era, “Mature,” is already earning acclaim from critics and fans alike. VOGUE hailed the single as:
a perfect point of re-entry, pushing Duff’s sound in new directions while still feeling quintessentially Hilary.” – VOGUE Magazine.
Co-written by Duff, her husband and GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter-producer Matthew Koma (Britney Spears, P!nk), and Madison Love (Halsey, Ava Max), “Mature” blends shimmering pop production with Duff’s trademark vulnerability and wit. The song amassed over five million global streams in its first week and is accompanied by a cinematic music video directed by Lauren Dunn (Olivia Rodrigo, Dove Cameron, Saweetie), now boasting more than 2.4 million views on YouTube.
In “Small Rooms, Big Nerves,” Duff Returns to the Stage
Before luck…or something hits shelves, Hilary plans to reconnect with fans in an intimate four-city tour titled Small Rooms, Big Nerves. These instantly sold-out shows mark her first headline performances in over a decade.

The tour begins January 19 at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, followed by stops in Toronto (January 24), New York City (January 27), and Los Angeles (January 29). Following the overwhelming fan response, Duff shared a heartfelt thank-you video on Instagram, celebrating the reunion with her dedicated fanbase that grew up with her.
The Evolution of the Pop Princess
From her early beginnings as the beloved star of Lizzie McGuire to her reign as a Y2K pop princess, Hilary Duff has spent two decades shaping both pop culture and the sound of millennial nostalgia. With multi-platinum hits including Metamorphosis (featuring beloved classic hits such as “So Yesterday” and “Come Clean”), her self-titled 2004 LP, and 2007’s dance-driven Dignity, Hilary sold over 15 million albums worldwide before shifting her focus to television, entrepreneurship, and writing.
Her 2015 album, Breathe In. Breathe Out. (which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200) marked her last studio release, until now. Recently signed to Atlantic Records, Hilary calls luck…or something her “most honest and fearless” work to date.
With sold-out shows, a hit single, and a deeply personal new record on the way, Hilary Duff’s long-awaited comeback signals an artist rediscovering her voice and redefining what pop can mean after growing up, stepping back, and returning bigger and better.
