Gwyn Love Excites The Senses In ‘ur gf kisses me’

Kisses are done to show affection towards another person. Whether that’s for a family member, friend or a lover, the message is clear here “I love and care about you”. As sweet as that sounds, there’s an alternate side to it all ala side A and B on a cassette tape. Mostly done amongst the shadows, this kiss is fueled by intense desire for a lover or in some cases a complete stranger we’re attracted to. Serving as a pathway to spicy encounters to say the least.

A ray of sunshine touching our face, we are greeted by a warm kiss from emerging artist Gwyn Love with their latest song entitled ‘ur gf kisses me’. Released May 19th in all major streaming platforms via 604 Records. ‘ur gf kisses me’ is a track that talks about a kiss and how it’s used as revenge against a friend’s toxic boyfriend. A hybrid between love and naughtiness from start to finish. It’s an irresistibly danceable tune that paints an explosive ‘love’ triangle that’s too hot to handle.

With a voice so sultry and pure, combined with instrumentals that take our breath away in one swoop. Gwyn Love shows us that a kiss can be a double edged sword. For one it’s used as a sign of having an intense longing for her friend. While on the other hand it’s also a huge slap and ‘FU’ to the face of a jerk who “By the way you’re kissing other girls on the weekends” as lyrics would say. Take that you clown because “You’re girlfriend kisses me when you’re not around”.

Albeit it possesses a vengeful and risqué  vibe to it. What’s so refreshing here is that it’s also an anthem for empowerment, friendship and most importantly freely loving and desiring who we want – no boundaries. Sure it’s just a kiss and all, but when two individuals lock lips emotions are soon to follow. It might not be love yet, but it’s a fiery one for sure. Enough to muster up the courage to put yourself in harms way for the sake of someone else. “I’m really glad you came babe.”.
