With BRAT summer in full swing, English singer-songwriter Charli xcx continues her reign of music prowess with the release of her latest single, “Guess featuring Billie Eilish.” The nearly three minute long spicy single features lyrics that talk about guessing “the color of [one’s] underwear.” While the lyrics no doubt carry their own euphemisms, the collaboration with Billie Eilish also emphasizes the duo’s donation to I Support The Girls.
“Hey Billie, you there?”
As powerhouses of the pop music industry, Charli xcx and Billie Eilish both radiate a certain attitude in their music. “Guess featuring Billie Eilish” is no exception with its captivating synths and club beats that beg to be danced to. Paired with suggestive lyrics that are catchy and concise, the single is a unique combination of both artists’ reputable styles.
“Guess featuring Billie Eilish” is a remix of Charli’s penultimate track in her deluxe album, Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not. Before its release, Charli teased the new single by posting a headless photo of the duo standing together. Fans were able to link the mystery artist’s rings to Eilish, as she had been wearing the same jewelry during a Chicken Shop interview weeks prior.
The Music Video
Eilish and Charli have also launched their official music video for “Guess featuring Billie Eilish.” Directed by Glaswegian director Aiden Zamiri, the video quickly rose to success and accumulated 10 million YouTube views. This marks Eilish’s 26th music video to surpass that milestone.
The video itself is both provocative and powerful, with Charli and Eilish embracing the flirtatious feel of the piece. At a crowded house party, Charli is surrounded by people stripping their clothes and throwing lingerie and briefs into the air. Eilish makes her appearance on a bulldozer by crashing into the room and then driving through a city littered with undergarments. Responding to Charli’s lyrics, Eilish sings, “Don’t have to guess the color of your underwear / Already know what you’ve got goin’ on down there.” Then, the pair climb a huge mountain of panties and finish out the song with cheeky jabs at questionable fan behavior, such as stalkers and invasive fans.

I Support The Girls
Eilish and Charli have made a huge donation to I Support The Girls (ISTG). This organization focuses on the collection and redistribution of necessary feminine items for homeless and impoverished individuals. The 10,000 pairs of underwear and bras seen in the music video have all been donated to domestic violence survivors. Donations to the charity can be made here.

Since its release on August 1, 2024, “Guess featuring Billie Eilish” has reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and garnered nearly one billion Spotify streams. The single comes after the critically acclaimed release of Billie Eilish’s third studio album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT and Charli xcx’s sixth studio album, BRAT. Both have reached unprecedented success throughout 2024: all ten tracks on Eilish’s album debuted in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and Charli’s ranked No. 6 on Billboard 200.
