Governors Ball Shares Food Lineup and Site Map for New Flushing Location
Founders Entertainment is excited to share the delicious food vendor and beverage lineup for the 2023 Governors Ball Music Festival. The news comes alongside the unveiling of the initial festival site map for Governors Ball’s new home among the trees in historic Flushing Meadows Corona Park. All weekend long festival patrons can refuel with favorite eats and libations from some of the best establishments New York City’s world-renowned food scene has to offer. Set to take place Friday, June 9th through Sunday, June 11th, the twelfth edition of the festival features a lineup of 60+ performing artists including headliners Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo and ODESZA.
Speaking of food, Governors Ball and their partners have a lot of treats lined up for hungry music fans this june. Dunkin’ will be on hand so fans can stick with their daily routine at the festival and stop by for an Iced and Hot Coffee, Cold Brew, Espresso and more. Everything Legendary, known for plant-based products that nourish the body and feed the soul, will have its food truck at Governors Ball with menu items such as burgers, tacos, sausages and nuggets. Need to cool off and satisfy your sweet tooth? Stop by the Häagen-Dazs® Experience to try their latest product, the Häagen-Dazs® Butter Cookie Cone.
Beyond multiple free water stations throughout the grounds, there will be plenty of options for ice cold drinks or libation. Music lovers can cool off with a Boba from Tea and Milk, or a fresh pressed offering from John’s Juice. Anheuser Busch will deliver the goods with Bud Light’s easy enjoyment, and fun new Bud Light Seltzer flavors. Local favorite Blue Point Brewing Company has returned with a custom Gov Ball Summer Ale– find a can at a retail location and scan the QR code for your chance to win 2 VIP tickets! And of course, Stella Artois is back with Frites Artois and a new menu by Roy Choi, celebrating everything you love about hot, crispy frites and cold beer – with a deliciously elevated twist. In the mood for a little vino? Chateau Ste. Michelle, Washington State’s Founding winery, will delight wine drinkers with an array offerings drawing on their 55 year history as a trailblazing vintner.
Cocktail fans will find something to love as well with a variety of great concoctions available. Grab an Aperol Spritz, Italy’s favorite bright and bubbly cocktail made with Aperol, Cinzano Prosecco and a splash of soda water. Or step into the Caribbean at CASA BACARDÍ with the Gov Ball Punch, a tropical blend of BACARDÍ Coconut Flavored Rum, passionfruit, lime, and club soda. In the mood for a Margarita? Espolòn has you covered with the Espolòn Margarita, featuring Espolòn Blanco paired with fresh all natural margarita mix made with 100% real Florida lime juice and organic agave nectar. Tito’s Handmade Vodka will take on the June heat with the refreshing Tito’s Sparkling Lemonade, with freshly-squeezed lemonade, sparkling water, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. And don’t forget D’USSÉ, a bold modern expression of Cognac, will offer up the D’USSÉ Lemonade, a refreshing take on the summer staple.
Founders Entertainment is proud to make The Governors Ball a small part of Flushing Meadows Corona Park’s storied history, and honored to be a part of the Queens community. In 2023, in addition to making a donation to the Music Forward Foundation’s scholarship program (providing scholarships to youth from under-resourced communities interested in working in the music industry), the Governors Ball Gives Back program will work to support the Queens community by partnering with local non-profit organizations including Chhaya and the Elmhurst/Corona Recovery Collective (ECRC). These local non profits will have a presence at the festival, and Governors Ball is supporting them via festival partner Propeller, where fans can earn a free ticket to Governors Ball 2023 via donating to and volunteering their time towards local community service projects and other initiatives. Beyond supporting and highlighting local organizations, Governors Ball is also proud to welcome young musicians from the local community to perform at the festival, with future festival stars from School of Rock Queens and School of Rock Brooklyn kicking things off on Friday and Sunday.

In a year of big announcements, the 2023 edition of the festival sees the introduction of the GA+ ticket type as well, featuring access to air-conditioned restrooms, an exclusive centrally located lounge area with shade, seating, and its own exclusive bar, food vendors and water refill stations. The GA+ lounge will also include a dedicated concierge for GA+ ticket holders to assist with their festival needs.
