Norwegian indie-pop singer Girl in Red has added additional dates to her Fall 2021 US Festivals Tour, with several new festivals including both weekends of Austin City Limits, Firefly, Music Midtown, and All Things Go. She will follow this run with a set of highly anticipated concert dates in early 2022.

The 22-year-old bedroom pop phenom has rapidly risen to prominence in indie-pop circles over the past several years, beginning with her early singles on SoundCloud and her first EPs, Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, in 2018 and 2019. She has been noted for her lyrical openness about mental health and her depictions of sapphic romance. She released her debut studio album If I Could Make It Go Quiet earlier this year through AWAL records. When the pandemic derailed her 202 tour plans, she wrote the album’s songs while in lockdown at her home in Oslo, driving to the northern city of Bergen to record them. The lead single “Serotonin,” co-produced by Billie Eilish producer FINNEAS, has earned over 50 million streams and reached number 3 on the Billboard Alternative Rock Chart.

Girl in Red recently partnered with Artist Den and Variety to perform several songs from the record on their video channel. She also appeared on Genius’s Verified series to break down her lyrics to “Serotonin.”

The vast majority of dates on her upcoming tour have already sold out, including both nights of her concluding stay at San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom. Only nine shows still have tickets available:

3/12/22 – Baltimore @ Ram’s Head Live

3/15/22 – Brooklyn, NY @ Brooklyn Steel

3/20/22 – Toronto @ Queen Elizabeth Theater

3/24/22 – Chicago @ Metro

3/27/22 – Milwaukee, WI @ The Rave

3/28/22 – Minneapolis @ First Avenue

3/29/22 – Kansas City, MO @ The Truman

4/01/22 – Houston @ House of Blues
