GIDEA UNVEILS NEWEST SINGLE “HAUNTED LULLABY,” AN AIRY ARRANGEMENT FULL OF BEAUTIFUL VOCALS AND POIGNANT LYRICS

A mix of Fiona Apple, Kate Bush and Björk, chamber pop and folk artist Gidea is a talent unlike any other in the current music industry landscape. With her latest release, “Haunted Lullaby,” she continues her strides as a purveyor of the mysterious and a maven of the natural world. The lyrics on “Haunted Lullaby” mourn the loss of its beauty and luster, while upholding the aspects of the Earth that make her whole and wonderful. It’s a sincere and moving song from an immense talent — both playful and serious in its execution. Alongside a mix of eerie cellos, Gidea’s ethereal vocals take centerstage as the true star of “Haunted Lullaby” — rising to the highest heavens while remaining ground din the very-real problems of which she sings. As Gidea herself says of the song:

“Despite the song’s serious subject matter, ‘Haunted Lullaby’ still manages to be quite animated at parts. Alternating between somber and energetic, the vocals and cello are layered throughout, experimenting with different textures.”
